2013 XFR with Meriden sound.
Samsung S10, connects but won't download my phone book. Have deleted all phones and tried fresh pairing.
waited about 15 minutes, but it just says downloading.

Any ideas guys n gals ?

 

So on my Samsung S10, I changed where the contacts were saved. This is in the contact app, all your contacts need to be saved in the phone.
mine were saved in my gmail account. I exported contacts to the phone memory.

I also set to automatically download phone book. This is from Jaguars website:-

Downloading Phonebook

PHONE:

• The phonebook is downloaded automatically to the system

CAR:

• While the phone is paired and connected:
• Select 'Phone' from the home screen
• Select 'Settings'
• Select 'Phone Options' from the settings view
• Select 'Phonebook' from the phone options view
• Select Automatic download 'On'
• Follow instructions to disconnect and reconnect your phone. Upon reconnection the phonebook will be downloaded

CAR:

• Note: Phonebook download is available only with compatible phones
