Possible XF purchase have some questions
Hello Xf forum guys.
I’m looking at a 2011 xf premium with 62,000 miles on it.
I took her for a drive and it drives incredible shifts OK everything works great interior.
Any concerns or things I should look for as I’m quite knowledgeable with all the older jags but this would be a completely new step forward.
One thing it has the dash is kind of bubbling a little bit and pulled back which I have noticed there’s a thing on these cars.
I was considering just if I did get the car getting a – top to cover that up. Because I’m sure it’s extremely expensive to replace if it can’t even be replaced.

The water pump on the 5.0 engine seems to be an issue (i.e., there have been lots of posts about it here). So I would try to check the records to see if it has been replaced.
I would also look for a qualified non-dealer repair shop. These cars can be EXPENSIVE to repair if a dealer is your only option.
