Default Problem!! Jaguar xfr supercharged 2010 v8

When I was going down the road I was blocking the vehicle. Call a crane and take you to jaguar representative in chile. I checked it and they told me that the vehicle was blocked because it had little oil and because of that the block was broken.
I have a solution ??? Why does this block occur?

Whats page is recommend for sales repuestos jaguar.

Whats location the bloc of vehicle

Sorry my english. I live in cile sudamerica

I think blocked -> seized. If so, you need to change the engine.

Oil is vital.

Sorry to hear of you troubles.

There are a few threads on here on the XFR and XF 5.0ltr engine seizure.
Also on the LR forums.

Low oil level, bottom end turns, and wipes out the engine. Bottom end and main bearings and damages the crankshaft, requiring regrinding.

Options would appear to be new engine from Jaguar, expensive.

second hand engine from a car breaker. Less expensive.

The repair option and rebuilding the engine, with (repuestos) spare parts is prone with difficulty due to the unavailability of parts, bottom end oversized bearing shells etc. JLR apear to only sell half or whole engine blocks.

Good Luck.
