Question about smart keys
Hi All,
I have just became an XF owner for the first time, it is a 2012 premium luxury.
The car only came with 1 smart key (the older wedge shape pre 2012- 2012), I would like to get a 2nd key.
My Questions are
1. Is it possible to program the pebble shape keys 2012- (either genuine or aftermarket)?
2. If its not possible to pair this shape key to this MY has anyone been able to modify/swap the shells? my reason is i prefer the style and there is a better choice of covers for the pebble style key rather the older wedge
FYI. I am a Dealer tech in the motor trade with access to SDD and will prob explore the possibilities anyway, I am wondering if anyone has been there and done that before I start experimenting.
