Default Rain sensor issues?

Just curious if anyone else had issues with their rain sensor, don't think mine is working .. not a huge deal and probably not worth fixing if it's stupid money, but has anyone replaced one no what's involved or how much it costs ? I have set to the right setting and max sensitivity and doesn't seem to work.

From the outside, does the sensor appear to be flat against the glass or is there an air gap? Mine was not working well after a windshield replacement and I could see it was not seated flush. After an adjustment by the glass installer it was fixed.

this is a feature that is not working for me also. where is the sensor?

the wipers do not move at all in the first setting...the second and third setting are fine. but the first setting does nothing, unless I squirt washer fluid.

ill look at that today, is the whole panel the sensor or just one of the little squares?

The sensor is behind the rear view mirror on the outside
