Default Re introducing myself from Cary NC

Hi y'all. I haven't been on this website much since I bought my 2003 X type back in 2014.
That car was very very good to me, I must say. It only had 43,000 miles on it when I bought it and it had 60,000 miles on it when I traded it in last night.
I'm a retired female so I don't do a lot of driving with an average of about 6,000 miles per year.
Boy do I hate buying cars from dealers. No matter what I do or how smart I think I am going in there I always feel like they got the better of me when I walk out.
Anywho, I am now the proud owner of a 2013 XF and she's a beauty!
Has 35,000 miles and looks and feels like new in metallic grey with grey interior.
My question is about the turbo. It's a 4 cyl. with lots of pick up but the turbo makes it kind of buck when I even slightly step on the gas.
Is that something I have to get used to or is there a way to fix that?
Anything else I should know about this car, any known issues I should be aware of?
Appreciate any advice in advance! Now I can't wait to get out and drive!

Step even lighter on the gas? seriously tho, not sure as I haven't driven the 4cly XF
I did have a drive of the 2 ltr turbo XE when it came out and I found that using the paddles helped to smooth out the down shifts. Not sure if the XF has paddles?

Either way congrats on the purchase.

All of Jaguar's current lineup has paddle shifters.

You might want to try an ECU/Transmission reset. I can't remember the exact process, as I haven't done one, but I'm sure someone here will chime in.
