Having an issue with my reversing camera but can't find anything the same in the forum.

Basically when I select reverse all I get on the display is a blue screen. Sensors, reversing lights etc all still work ok (as does the normal display)

Could it be the camera has failed ? and is there any way that I can test it (no obvious sign of damaged wiring)

Oddly enough it only started doing this after I changed one of the number plate light bulbs so maybe I damaged a wire then.

 

Try to take a look I never had this issue but yeah the camera and plate light is so close to each other.

See if you can see the other wires or re-connect the old plate bulb to see if it fixes it.

 

Usually a problem with the boot (trunk) wiring harness.
