Default Service manual

I'm looking for the shop / service manual for my 2014, preferably in PDF. The dealer I bought from uses a topix subscription, way too expensive for an individual. Any recommendations?

Topix and Mitchell are the only game in town.

Someone posted the service manual in PDF for I think it was the 2009 model - somewhere here on the Forum. That will have a high degree of similarity to your model. But of course not the same. I've not seen any others - but it does at least suggest you can get it for these cars in PDF.

Yup, see here for the range of downloadable PDF workshop manuals:
Jaguar XF XFR X250 Workshop Manual
Reasonably cheap at roughly $14US a pop.

I'm probably a little confused here, but I thought Jaguar was still using Ford's Durotech V6 through 2011? My understanding is that today's supercharged V6 is a Toyota engine.

Default But...

Don't mean to be an argumentative newbie here, but AutomobileCatalog.com says the engine is a Toyota 1MZ-FE.
2014 Jaguar XF 3.0 (for North America U.S.) specs review.
Personally, I don't think that's bad news at all - Toyota makes the Lexus, the top reliability make for years. I hope Jaguar has attacked their other reliability opportunities with the same acumen.

I've only got a couple of hundred miles under my belt in this machine, and so far its wonderful. I want it to last a long time.

Yep, I knew that. But they cover 95% of what's in/on the 2012 onwards models, and that's all there is for downloadable PDFs.
