While at the barbershop today she calls and says did you know the rims where coming today? Uh no. Well UPS just delivered them. Needless to say we went and bought tires today and got the wheels installed. I gotta admit I think hers looks better than mine now. I guess if anyone if going to be riding cleaner than me in the city it might as well be my soon to be wife. Tell me what y'all think...black XF (22x9 all the way around) or white XF

(staggered 22x9 and 22x10.5)??

I do like both. But I think that the white one is pretty sweet looking!

Since I also have Savini BM3s, I am partial to the white car, but black looks great too. I am in process of detailing mine and will post photo of my black car , so if you want to switch you can see the look in advance!

I think both look good, but they have a different flavor. Your white one looks more classic, like the uprated factory version. Her black one looks more aggressive and more "tuner". Just depends on what you like. May have missed it, but are hers Savini as well?

Thanks for the input fellas!

Jaguny, I'll certainly be looking fwd to those pics.

Kyanite, I totally agree and before I got hers I kept going back and forth on whether I wanted to keep the luxury look or go with a sportier look. Still a little torn. As I watched hers in motion as we followed one another home yesterday it was definitely a beautiful sight to watch but on the flipside when she's been driving mine at night and I'm along side her the beauty created as the lights of the night hit the Savinis is like no other. Ahhhh decisions, decisions. BTW hers are GWG Zeros, a pretty inexpensive wheel but I wanted to make sure she was capable of driving with the low pros before I spent a nice penny on a set of wheels. For the price I was really impressed with how good they look, now to see if they meet the quality test.

I like the black wheels better, They appear to be easier to keep clean which is a big sticking point with me and sorta look like The BMW M style wheels which I'm also partial to. Both are nice and would ride on either. It must be nice to live where you can have nice wheels like that. The street here would eat those tires and wheels for dinner.

From what I've learned about the 20's I'd never spend big dollars on rims, especially 22's. It would hurt too much dropping $1200 if one got bent.

I like the white ones better only because the size looks like it fits the car better. The black car ones look like the front wheel is too big but I think this could be because of lighting...since i cant see the front bumper. The style of the black ones I like better but both look very clean. just my 2 cents

Yes I'm sure hers will be much easier to clean. Seeing that it poured down today I'll probably have the chance to experience cleaning them in the next day or 2. Roads here are pretty okay for the must part but some are certainly horrible. I cringe every time I hit a put hole.

Don't think I'd ever go the $1200/rim route. Don't think I've ever dropped more than $2700 for a set and that's including tires...lol

Jaguny, nice! Reminds me of a friend of my brother that lives around the corner from me. He's got the 20" BM3s on his vapor grey XF.

Jaguarxfv8, before I bought hers I tried to talk her into taking mine so I could get some new ones but she wasn't going for it...lol. Interestingly enough the set I actually purchased on were the GWG Flow which looks much like the ones I have on my white one except they're full face without the chrome lip. They were out of stock for the XF so I had em send me the Zeros instead.

Nice looking rims and rides! I know that here in Pittsburgh, those 22's would last about a week before getting ruined from pot holes!

Pennsylvania Period.. Must have the worst roads.. Even where they "so Called Fix them" they filled the hole with mounds of black top leaving rim bending lumps.. Where still dealing with streets that have broken water main damage from the winter here in Philly..

I just realized why I like the BM3's better...they're staggered! I like that the rear is more concave than the front.

Again, 'preciate the responses fellas! We have some pretty bad roads here in San Antonio too but I've tried to make my routes to the places I frequent via good roads. I've hit a few put holes and got a few nicks on the BM3s but so far I've been blessed not tear up any of the wheels.

Gpalace, they're GWG Zero.

Kyanite, they actually make the Zero staggered too. Still seriously considering a set for my XF and IF I do I'll probably go with the staggered ones.
