Default Sold my XF SC

After 4 years with my XF SC I have traded it in for a 2016 f type R. The car has been great and I expect I will miss it at times. I wanted to go to more of a sports car handling and f type was just to attractive and did me in, in the end. My practical side had me looking at Macan turbo, but it was still an suv, and looked the part. I am picking the car up tomorrow if all goes as planned. If the new XF had a V8 available, I might have not moved, if the handling was more sport car. Even test driving the f type 's , I couldn't go to a 6 cylinder. The V8 in these cars is addictive. On a side note concerning V8s, my son's 71 charger (joint project) rebuilt 440 will be on the road in about 2 weeks. It should push north of 500 hp, but likely can't take on an f type. I will post photos in the non jag section for anyone interested.

I want to thank all XF forum participants as I learned much from the community. I will continue to check in to see if I can contribute. Feel free to pm with any specific questions on XF.

I will be posting the obligatory photos on the f-type forum over the weekend, so if your interested, check it out.

Some great contibutors to this forum. Thanks again!

Awesome news..I envy you in a way..I tried on an "F" and I was a little cramped for my 6'4" frame...But The V8 would be the only way to go..hope you have fun with it.

I'm 6'2 and good size, so I understand. Thanks.
