hi there, wondering if anyone has been successful with a tune for the 6 speed xfr/equivalent transmission? I am aware of various threads about such, but seems like dead ends and just wishful thinking. similar trans in many bmw products and seems like various companies offer OBD-2 TCU tunes for them
I DO NOT know that i have any problems with the trans, just want it to hit harder in 1st and 2nd gears and perhaps shift a little faster. for what it is tasked with doing (moving 4500 lbs via 500hp) it is a decent functioning and overall impressive unit, just wanting to optimize.
and / or I'd appreciate any info of upgrades to the internals if that's the better route.
lastly, thoughts on performance increase in 1st 2 gears with simple fluid change? i have 85k miles and it's likely original fluid / filter.
