Yup, I think they have to drop the plastic undertray to remove the sump plug and filter, unless you have a 2010 or newer. They probably knocked the transmitter or receiver out of position. Take it back and make them fix it. Then use a dealer to do the oil change next time.

2010 and later are changed from under the hood with a pump and the filter is right there also.

Read an above response to check the position of the receivers (they are sitting vertically at the back of the front bumper) I suppose they could have been knocked lose but they snap in place.

I have a hard time seeing how they could have knocked the recievers loose from removing the plastic undertray; I performed an oil change in my driveway last week and had no issues, so unless you like paying the dealer for "peace of mind" any reputable shop should be able to handle an oil change.

Have you put many miles on it since the oil change? It seems like power was lost to the module so may take some time to re-learn the signals of each transmitter. When Discount Tire replaced the TPMS sensor in my front right tire, it took about 20 minutes of driving for the fault to disappear.

I thought so too but others have suggested this happens. I've seen reports that after a service either the transmitter or the receiver has been found dislodged. I deduce that removal of the undertray may result in a mechanic unfamiliar with the location of the TPMS components in the XF knocking them loose without knowing it.

Hey all, I rotated my tires and having the same issue, all tires will light up in the display, that will happen for a few minutes the will stop, then again come back. I’m certain I could put my tires back in each location to fix the problem, but would rather find a procedure for re learning the locations.
Any ideas?
