Transmission Filter
Hi guys, new to the forum so please be gentle with me! I am looking to do a gearbox service on my Jag xf (2012 2.2d/8 speed) but seems to be variation which filter is required! Is there a way to get the build sheet showing the gearbox spec from the VIN to be sure i get the correct one?
Vin number is: SAJAC0466CDS26522
The one i have found is JDE36541 which corresponds to Mele number but the supplier says its wrong?
any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums Chris,
The Build Sheet is unlikely to help with this. I've therefore moved your question from a thread about Build Sheets in X351 to X250 forum. Members here with the same model should be able to help identify the correct filter.
Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Hi Chris
Try this: https://webcat.zf.com/
Thats the gearbox manufacturer, it will show you what kits are available to service your gearbox. There is a full kit 1087.298.365 with oil and cover / filter which should match your gearbox. The filter is integrated in the cover and cannot be replaced on its own.
Cheers
