Default Unreal & every xf owner should check

AllData - Technical Service Bulletins

like just about EVERY XF has a TSB (yes they list vins) of ELECTRICAL DRAW GLITCH..
and all they have to do is upgrade software.
free if under warranty.

I went to dealership for another matter and said - this tsb has been out since 2010 and u never did this ???? I always complained i felt things were running in sleep mode and just ate through a battery in 5 months- it covered- they replaced

I showed the tech he said $70.00 as I'm 7k out of warranty.
complained to nj hq- no help
i said fine every 6 months u can replace battery under warranty
seems to hit to non s/c more then others.

I had to got a replacement battery after 4 months when the car was out of warranty and they charged me $70 labor. I thought it was a ripoff but I didn't argue over $70. Next time, I'll bring the battery to them in a different car so they can just test the battery and give me a new one with no installation ripoff.
