Hey gentlemen,

I wanted to share some pictures of the car. It's a midnight black, with London tan interior.

Absolutely gorgeous. A beautiful car, and your photos are absolutely gorgeous, as well...you obviously planned where you were going to take them from, and it really shows.

I realize I never posted pictures of mine, so I will have to do so. Its a shame I can't do it in my driveway now, Exec, you really set the bar high!

Having black, I personally love it when its clean, though I prefer Caviar on the 2012, though midnight black and stratus gray are tied for my second choice. London tan is my absolute favorite interior color, and I love the wide black piping...looks like you went for the Portfolio?

I hate to discuss $$$, but did you get a good deal? New or used?

It is a beautiful car! Enjoy!

Beautiful ride you got yourself there Exec.

Lovin the interior, the tan is gorgeous. Those wheels are going to take some cleaning though, rather you than me there.

Very artistic pics too, nice one

I want to thank everyone for the compliments.

arlingtonman - Thank you.
You do have to put up some pics of your car, i have never seen it. I like the one in the your avatar.
Bought the car used with a few thousand miles on it. I did get a good deal on it, since they were really trying to get rid of all the 12s on the lot. Plus, i have a good contact at the dealer.

09XFSuper - Maybe down the road. I am just so happy with the car, just going to enjoy it for now.

Jim - The wheels aren't too bad to maintain them clean. Suprsingly, the brake dust isn't bad at all on this car. Very happy about that.

Thanks Exec! Yeah, there seems to be some good '12 deals now. Plus, I'm sure knowing the dealer helped! Was it CPO? I added a thread with pictures, and updated my avatar picture to something larger than an inch...it was pretty hard to see.

Glad to hear break dust isn't too bad on your car...mine accumulates rapidly...I try to clean them at least twice a week. If I let them go a whole week, it's caked on and really hard to get off. I have OEM brakes on it.

arlingtonman,

No, it wasn't certified pre-owned. That would been nice if it was. But, i will be getting extended warranty through Jaguar when the original meets the deadline.

Just finished looking at the pictures. I clicked on your thread, before clicking on mine. lol
The car looks good. The only thing makes a focal point in a back is the license plate frame. Is a dealer one?

I forgot to answer your question earlier regarding the trim. It's Portoflio pack 2. Basically loaded to the maximum.

Executive - Nice. I went for the fully loaded in my 2009, as well. Premium package, Cold weather package, Warm climate package, Advanced Vision Package, etc. and am so glad to have all these features.

Yeah, it's the dealer plate frame. Do you think I should ditch it? Go frameless or a different one?

Smart idea with the warranty if you plan on owning it for a long time. Better safe than sorry.

I would at least get a black frame surround, if you want to have something on there. I tested fitted a few different ones on mine, but didn't really like the way frames looked on there. The trunk is curvy and wheni put the frame around the plate, it sticks out and just looks out of place/cheap.
So, now i am frameless - much cleaner look.

arlingtonman,

I do like that plate surround, but i think the leaper on there is going to take away from the one on the trunk. I would personally pass on it, but if you like it, go for it.

My thought exactly. I can't be bothered to change it, if anything, I'll go frameless...
