Hey everyone. New 2009 Jaguar XF owner here. Have a year left under warranty and was just wondering what all is covered and what is not covered. I just picked up the vehicle about a week ago and am now noticing there are a couple LED's in the taillight burnt out. Can I replace these or do I have to change out the entire taillight? Would this be covered under warranty?

Also looking to put some pedals on and a footrest. The ones you can purchase through the dealership are around $150 and they say they go on over the existing pedals. How do those work? I am undecided if I should get those or some from ebay with a footrest for $50. Anyone have any experience with these.

All in all super happy with the new (to me anyway) XF. I have had a bunch of comments on it. They are quite uncommon in my city (as we dont have a dealership) and I get a lot of looks because of it. Anyways, thanks for reading and helping in advance!

the rear tail lights are a recall they will replace them

 

Where do I find a list of all recalls? I haven't been able to find this recall. Thanks for the reply.

Don't know where to find all recalls but I brought my car in and dealer took care of it without me asking said it was a recall they replaced one light and put some kind of vent on the other so it wouldn't happen to that one

 

The USA Warranty on the 2009 XF is detailed in the Passport to Service (Jaguar Publication JJM 18 11 99 901).

i am reaching 10K on my '09 or Jan for the original warranty to expire (bought it used this past Jan). i checked with my local dealer and they said i can purchase an extended warranty, but haven't had a chance to get more info on it.
