Default Water In Fuel Warning

I have a 2009 3.0d XF and a few weeks ago my "Water In Fuel" warning came on the display. After draining the filter with no luck at getting the warning to disappear I was advised the fuel filter and/or sensor needed changing which i have done and the warning is still showing. Is this message something that needs to be reset with a computer to make is go away or is there a second sensor I am missing somewhere. Even if I physically disconnect the cable from the sensor the warning remains.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Head on over to the Pommy XF forum at Jaginfo - Jaguar XF Forum, they have much more experience and knowledge of the 3.0 diesel XF.
