Default What kind of oil?

Hey there guys, I have a Jaguar XF 3.0 Diesel 2009, bought it few months ago and now it's time to change the oil. I see they recommend Castrol but I don't know exactly which one. I heard Castrol Edge, but there are like a few types of Castrol Edge.

Can you guys help me out a bit, recommend me a good oil from Castrol?

Thanks a lot!

Best day ever,
Stefan

The oil spec is shown on page 899 of the Workshop Manual.
You want fully synthetic low SAPS 5W30 which meets or exceeds Ford WSSM2C934-B.
It doesn't need to be Castrol let alone Castrol Edge, any oil which meets the above spec is perfectly OK. But remember it must be fully synthetic and low SAPS (which any oil that meets the above spec will be).
Go here to download a copy of the 2010-2011 3.0D Workshop Manual which will be 99% accurate for your 2009 3.0D: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lghw4v21pw...op3LD.pdf?dl=0
