Default what performance monitor can I use

Hi want to get a sct performance monitor for my 2010 xfr so I can get some data. I found one sct 5015pwd which is for ford 1996-2022. Will this work or is there something else I should be looking at? I keep hearing my engine is basically a ford 5.0. Sorry if I sound uneducated but i am with these cars. Thank you for any insight you have

I know nothing about performance monitors, sct or otherwise, but the AJ133 in your XFR is NOT a Ford engine, so a performance monitor (device or software?) which is designed for a Ford engine is pretty much guaranteed not to work on your XFR.
This (that the AJ133 is a Ford engine) is one of the most pernicious myths out there on the Interwebz, the AJ133 was designed by JLR and was a "clean sheet" design.
The confusion arises due to two main reasons:
1. The AJ133 is a 5.0 litre V8 quad cam 4 valve per cylinder all alloy engine, same as the Ford Coyote 5.0.
1. Up until 2020 the AJ133 was built in the Ford Bridgend (in Wales UK) engine plant on a dedicated production line under a deal between JLR and Ford, and it used quite a lot of mainly ancillary parts stamped FoMoCo. Production was moved to the newish JLR Wolverhampton plant in late 2020 and I don't know if it still uses lots of parts stamped FoMoCo.

Please listen to OzXFR we continually have "internet experts" claiming these are the same engines. Mainly idiot's in youtube video's.
He has laid it all out very well. Yes they are "similar" engines that is all.

I would NOT tie myself to SCT only? There is a huge market and depending on exactly what you trying to do you have many options.
Can you post what data your looking for?
Something as cheap and simple as Torque Pro might be good enough and the app is only $5!
You use your phone for the display.
