We just got a 2010 XF Supercharged and one of the rims are cracked. I've looked so many places but the wheels we have seem to be harder to find. They're 20 inch 5 spoke tri-split and 5 lug. I believe they are 9.5 inches wide (based on specs listed for a match I found but didn't snag up quickly enough) We're considering replacing all four with black rims as the car is black (interior and exterior) but aren't sure how much we can change the width. Can we use 8.5 inch width, 9 inch width? The tires are 285/30zr20 99w.

 

If you want to keep the stock wheels the rim can be repaired, I had a cracked in one of my rims and they welded it first $75 us no more leak

 

285 should only be on the back if you have staggerd rims

 

They are. We just weren't sure if we needed to stay with the specific 9.5 and 8.5 inch rims with the 285 rear and 255 front.

 

You could use 255 on both axles, the 285 are standard on the xfr or an option on other models.

 

We can use 255 on the 9.5 rims? But not the other way around?
