Default Wheels Painted

I have a 2010 Porcelain white XFR and was contemplating having the wheels painted black, or powder coated (but understand that the heating process might damage the wheels). Curious if anyone has tried this either painting or powdercoating and what level of success you had. I am in norther Calif. east bay, so any vendor references would be appreciated as well. Thanks

Alloy wheels are all painted with a heavy duty tough paint, unless clear lacquered. Aluminum alloy corrodes readily if exposed to air and goes a matt light grey. Stone chipped wheels look pretty bad after a few winters.

So, painting your wheels black is a simple matter involving use of black wheel paint. Powder coating is neither necessary nor desireable. You want wheel paint professionally applied.

Thanks that does seem to be the easiest approach.
