Default Whizzz sound from dash glove compartment

I have noticed a whizzz sound from around the glove comparment. I thought it was the engine but when I turn it off and then the press ignition the whizz comes back up. Anybody else have this sound and know why?

Sounds like the cabin air temperature sensor failing. It is right beside the glovebox.

Lot of other Jags have "dehumidifier" fans behind the dash that run for a few minutes once the car is turned off. It could also just be that little fan.
