Wideband (Lambda) sensors
So I was looking at some drawings before purchasing a set of wideband O2 sensors for reading A/F ratios as recommended by my tuner and it seems that the car already has a set of wideband sensors located just before the cats. I use DashCommand to monitor engine parameters and it seems to confirm that the signal received is wideband as opposed to traditional O2 sensors) because the readings can rage from 10.5:1 during WOT at high speeds to 29.3 during coasting with no throttle input. The range goes beyond what a normal O2 sensor (narrow band) would be able to read, which gives me some confidence that we already have a great piece of equipment as standard fitment for our cars
On the service manual they are listed as UEGO sensors.
What I would like to do in place of spending $400 on a seperate kit is to tap into the signal from each sensor to feed a separate digital gauge what will allow me to monitor both banks independent of each other. The gauge would give me two separate AFR readings, one for each bank.
Is this possible, or will the ECU throw fits?

You might pose this question to a company like Autometer

Boosted LSx engines been running their stuff a long time.

Yeah..its looking like trying to get just the gauge will be almost as much as getting the whole kit. But at least I should be able to tap into the wiring of the existing UEGO sensors without having to install new bungs for the included sensors. This is the kit I am looking at: Innovate Motorsports 3891 DLG-1 Dual Lambda Oxygen Gauge Kit
I just thought it would be more cost effective to get the gauge and control box separately, but its looking like the kit is priced better. Speaking of ....my WON spray kit finally arrived, so install thread will be coming soon

You should be able to tap into your existing sensors, I personally wouldn't recommend it nor do it myself. I am not sure if it is a narrow or wide band. It may only give you readings on WOT but not cruising or idle RPMs. That's why I had to travel 300 miles to get my dyno tuned by Eurocharged is because I wanted them to be able to data log.
I don't know how far Plano, TX from any of the Eurocharged locations in TX but should be a fun drive and props to you for spraying a JAG!!!!
One last thing isn't 10:5 a bit too much on richer side for boosted engine? I have no idea about jags so was just wondering.
Let us know how it works out
