Hello out there,

My Jag XF 4.2 SV 2008 has suddenly created a strange issue.
The display starts and works as it should - BUT - sometimes all light goes ot - it turns dark - and everything stillplays - works as intended - BUT when switching off ignition it is still dark - and i think it is ok.. NO it is not cos it drains the battery unless i ALWAYS remember to lock the car as with my XK MY - double click on the remote - ONLY if i have enjoyed music etc till i stop will i notice that it is still playing etc..

Jaguar here in Jylland/Denmark sucks - sorry - all they could say was that they could change the unit - the wires etc.. but some told me OUTSIDE the workshop that he had heard of this problem and there was a cheap solution.. a non-OEM cable should be replaced but he didnt know which nor where it was from...

Can anyone here enlighten me.. maybe with a solution.. if not this cable.. or if the cable then where the non-oem comes from/cna be ordered??
