Does anyone have a clear 'before' and 'after' for the XF (ideally with the 5.0 SC engine) showing the sound difference with and without the Mina exhaust? I've heard lots of YouTube clips etc of the Mina upgrade, but hard to compare it to stock without a like-for-like recording. Would love to get a sense for how much louder it really sounds, how the tone compares etc.

Also, separately, roughly what did it cost you in labor to replace the stock with the Mina?

 

I don't have a before and after for my XF. I am now installing a Mina on an XKR-S and have a before video and will post hopefull tonight a video with also the after. I will include the XF also. The Mina on the XF just gives it deeper tone, more of a rumble. There is more popping and gurgeling when you lift your foot. You still can cruise at 2,000rpm and 65mph and not hear the exhaust. It is a very mild exhaust compared to all the exhaust I had on all my other cars. It is only axle back and leaves all the other resonators in place. Now if you keep it at a certain rpm and listen for it you may have more drone over stock but I also could find a specific rpm with the stock exhaust make it sound uncomfortable. It is very mild, is a slip on without mods and I am sure you would have no issues selling it for what you paid for here on the board if you do not like it.

My dealership charged me $250 for installation.

 

Look on YouTube for clips and type in "XFR Mina" as your search. I know BigCat09 did some clips with his car that are pretty representative of the sound I heard with my stock exhaust and what I heard from AJMarton's Mina (the tone is right, but in person it's a bit louder than it sounds on the video). I love the sound on my XF SC with my Mina. Again no before and after for the SC but of my XKR-S and the XF SC is then at the end for comparison.
