There seems to be a recall on the XF for the replacement of the Differential Assembly, I believe it also includes the XK, not sure if it only applies to the Supercharged version.

Can anyone shed more light on this subject?

IT INCLUDES BOTH FOR CONTAMINATED FLUID FROM THE SUPPLIER, AND JAG WANTS ALL THE AFFFECTED ONE REPLACED, EVEN THEONES WE HAVENT SOLD WITH 5 MILES ON THEM

Hello Brutal, I have a 2010 XFR. I am experiencing an issue when I acceelrate hard. It almost feels like a clunk or slip form the rear end. It smooths out once I get going. I tried it in all modes, DSC, non-DSC, Dynamic Mode on & off and in sport mode. Do you think is is related to the rear differential issue being reported on the XF?

Even with the DSC switched off the rear brakes are applied to control wheelspin. This results in a clunking sound from the rear of the car.

If the noise does not appear if you accelerate less aggressively then this is what is happening.
