Wheel well has air tank for rear suspension in it.
How do I fit a spare wheel?

 

Do you have a phone that can take pictures? If so, post a pic of this air tank.

 

I have such a phone, but not the ability to use it!!

The tank is about 18" long by about 5" diameter and is mounted crossways in the rear of the spare wheel well.
If as appear4s a spare wheel can be bought, then either the tank has to be remounted elsewhere or the spare wheel does not go in the well under the floor.

 

The spare wheels listed for the XF are the Space Saver variety - approximately half the width of a normal tyre. In common with other modern Jaguars, there does not appear to be the space available for a full size spare wheel.

The Parts Catalogue also lists a special carrier and mounting bracket for the Space Saver.



Perhaps this allows it to clear the tank in the wheel well?
