XFR and 5.0 Supercharged Range Rover?
I really enjoy my 2010 XFR, but I need something bigger (and newer). It can also be hard finding an XFR with under 100k miles in the US (i bought mine with 99k and it's at 130k). So I'm looking at around 2016-2019 RRs at the moment.
How similar are the 5.0 S/C powertrains (XFR/RR)? I'm familiar with some common issues on the XFR (brittle coolant lines, common CEL codes, timing chain, other things to look out for), is the RR similar? Like is the learning curve far easier going from XFR to RR, than say BMW X5 Xdrive50i?
Also any opinions/insight from someone who has had both?
BTW, i would have way more faith in maintaining a 5.0 S/C than the BMW V8 TT....just IMHO

same **** except the front crossover changed to plastic so expect to tilt the blower if it hasn’t been done before
chain tensioners are a better design (compared to a late 2010 xf not the early ones) but still have issues

The Defender comes w/ the 5.0 Supercharged engine too... Don't know if that's large enough
I sold my XF and miss the sound of that engine. So I may go that direction. And the BMW Twin turbo is just boring... I didn't even know it was running when I was in the car!
