I purchased a 2015 Jaguar XFS diesel in 2015 brand new and since then I have on 3 different occassions " Battery not Charging" and "Apply Foot and Park Brake" messages alternating on the display. The car has been into Jaguar about 3 times so far and they " seemed to have fixed the problem" but not really as I had the same experience last ngith and the car had to be towed. Wonder if any one has experienced the same and any ideas as to what it could be ??

 

Most likely explanation is a loose or corroded earth connection somewhere, especially the one which runs off the main battery, so that is the first thing I would check. Also check the battery terminal connections, are they clean and tight.
