Cool Mina Gallery Exhaust anyone??

Hey guys. I was tempted to buy this last spring when I first got my XJR6, but did not really want to blow that kind of $$ within the first month of ownership.

I am far FAR, from being an impulse buyer, but I was on the Mina Gallery site again the other day and really would like to do that exhaust upgrade to my XJR6. Just the description alone sounds like it is exactly what I'm looking for, plus its specifically designed for our cars.

Was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on it, or if anyone has or knows someone that has installed this exhaust on a 95-97 XJ6/R.

Thanks!

I think we all are waiting for someone to put their toe in the water first & see what it's all about.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had the extra cash.

I've wanted to try some exhaust changes myself but have hesitated.

The Mina system is just too darn expensive for my blood. I believe it is stainless, which accounts from some of the high price, but still, a regular muffler shop could fabricate a nice system for much less, I think....espcially of you didn't wnat or need stainless.

OTOH, a straight six can sound awfully strange (IMHO) without the right exhaust tuning...and experimenting for the right sound can get expensive. If Mina has the right sound, it might be worth the price.

My plan, I think, is to eliminate the forward mufflers entirely and replace the rear mufflers with standard XJ6 units....which are 2-pass rather than the XJR's 3-pass type. Hopefully that would open things up a bit without sounding odd <shrug>

Cheers
DD
