Default 20,000 miles on a V6 - not a problem

OK just an update on my X351 V6 if anyone is interested.

Since this forum kindly helped me get my 2013 x351 sorted when it arrived (new valve cover gaskets, new alternator and battery) at just over 30,000 miles I am now up to 50,000 miles and not a single problem. I do always open the hood before *every* drive to check the coolant level and have replaced one pipe but not all with metal yet. (what are the current best sources for all metal coolant pipes now?) I have done a couple of oil changes and that's it. The AC and the silence of the car are the best parts as is the turbine smoothness of the V6 acceleration when I want to misbehave. Given I live in a very small country where there are NO decent jaguar mechanics and no dealer this has been a big success. So thank you to you all, especially Thermo.

I believe if you are very careful with the coolant issues and join a form like this the X351 can be a brilliantly reliable car/ So thank you to you all. I often go on long drives as the AC is even better than in my house and it feels so relaxing. I did change the tires for much softer grand touring Pirelli tires and that really helped. It no longer feels like a Ferrari when I go fast, but I rarely do that as I am very old... :-)

Thank you all...
