Default 2005 XJ 8L won't start

Hi all, my wife's 2005 XJ 8L was running well and today she stopped at the mail box on her way home, turned car off to get the mail and when she went to start the car it sputtered when it ran and the car sputtered the two blocks back to our house. Now the car will not start at all. We live in Arizona and the temperatures are near 100 degrees during the day. Any help as to what might be wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You're in the wrong forum for your car, which is an X350. Get your post moved there, or delete this one and start a new one in the X350 torum for XJ saloons 2003-2009

Having said that, it sounds like your fuel pump. Check the fuel pressure.
