Default 2010 XJ A thing of beauty

What a great looking car.....cant wait to see one in the flesh. These are great times to be a car nut. I want to see Jeremy Clarkson drive this now.

At least much much better than X350 which never growns on me

And if the XF is anything to judge by, going to do it well.

"More important, the 2009 Jaguar XF also has a kind of value in the way it goes about its business. A Jaguar has always meant something more than simple mobility, and the XF is much the same. It is more luxury car than sport sedan, yet it holds all cars in this price range to a higher standard when it comes to dynamic poise and even utility as well as style. It's the kind of Jaguar you can believe in."

Wonder what the pricetag will be on this one. The XF price tag seems pretty competitive.

the xj6 series 2 is the best looking xj ever. even this generation xj isnt isnt as good looking as the old x308/x300.
if i jaguar make that i will b dissapointed. its basically an xf clone and thats a bad starting platform. its also very ugly.
NO!! It looks nothing like a Jaguar!! First, they took the hood ornament off, and now THIS!
How in the world will non-car people know it's a Jaguar! If this car is made, there will be NO place for Jaguar in my life. Thumbs down times 28!!! If everyone wants $70,000 cars to look the same, that's their problem. Why do most on here have a Jaguar? Because we don't want to drive a car that looks no different than it's competitors. We want uniqueness, and this car is NOT unique!!! As Craig Jaguar said, It is a souped up XF, On the outside, It's simply a longer car. No difference. Tata Motors is disobeying a LIFETIME of trademark looks!

Has anyone seen a XJ220? I believe they where a limited edition build in the 90's.

If this is where the XJ is going, I will be staying behind. The XF lacks any identifiable exterior attributes. With its branding removed, most people could not pick it out of a lineup with its competitors.

This new XJ appears to follow that model. Bummer.

Maybe they both will grow on me in a few years. Not anytime soon though.
