Hello Guys,

My name is Brent. I am new to the forum. I just bought a Jag XJ supercharged and it will be delivered shortly. Can anyone tell me what size speakers the vehicle has and location ? I am a bit of an audiophile and I realize that it has a decent system already, however, I want to upgrade it. I will be installing Focal throughout the vehicle. Do I really need all 20 speakers ? Thanks for your help.

Obviously, Focal makes some very nice speakers, but I seriously doubt that you will get any tangible improvement switching to them from the Bowers and Wilkins - especially given that the crossover points and head unit tuning was done specifically for the B&W system. However, if you go to one of the Jaguar dealer's parts apps, you would be able to pull up a schematic of the speakers and their locations - generally speaking, they are a combination of 6.5" mid bass, 4" midrange, 1" tweeter and of course the subs.
