i have a 2012 XJL SC with 1200 watt b&w system. The problem i am having is the front driver and passenger door BOTTOM speakers that kick the bass are out and not working. I had the dealer swap the amp and adjusted my trebble and bass setting cranked up the system and speakers worked for 10 seconds and both went out again.....any ideas i checked fuses and disconnected the battery thinking might kick speakers back in but no luck

Driver side bass speaker turned on for a few moments but not passenger. Than I slowly put volume up little by little hit volume 50 and than all woofers turned off. Shut off car and turned on went to same as my original problem

 

[Sounds like] The speakers are being over-driven. What is the frequency range and impedance of the speakers?

High power bass speakers need some hefty magnets...but this reduces frequency range...sounds like speakers may be inadequate? Since you have replaced the amp then the speakers 'sound' like the problem...
