I'm looking at a 2015 XJL Portfolio and the listing is showing the stereo as 380 watt however I see from the pictures that this car has the speakers in the back of the driver and passenger seats for the back seat. Isn't this evidence that it is the Reference audio?

I suggest you keep things simple by starting a new thread for each question.

That listing appears to be incorrect. You're right - with the speakers in the seat backs, that's the optional 1300W Reference System.

To be fair there is not a lot of accuracy in new car listings, either!

 

Also, the plaques by the speakers in the wood vanier on the doors would be say Meridian Reference for the 1300w system, Meridian Surround for the 825w system, or no plaque for the 380w system. If I am correct.

 

Thanks for the info on the plaques - that's in line with what I've seen and deduced (so good to know that I was on the right track!) I've asked for close up pictures of the wood door panels so that I can validate.
