Hi I was wondering if anybody has had issues with their waterpumps on their 2015 xjr? I was looking into upgrading from my 2009 xf supercharged to a 2015 stratus grey xjr swb.

 

4.2xfsv8, the waterpump is going to be an issue on any 5.0L engine you get. It is getting better with each version that they release, but if there is a weakness in the engine, it is that. Great for tons of other reasons. But, gets a bad rap for the water pump. Keep your eye on it and you wlll see it start to act up and not be that big of a deal.
