I recently bought a 2016 R Sport that has ivory/oyster interior and had the steering wheel redyed because of a couple scratches which I should’ve left alone because the steering wheel was actually in good condition besides a couple blemishes. The job came out terrible, the color doesn’t match the original Oyster color it was and the dye on the wheel itself is starting to peel. Where can I find the original Oyster color leather dye for that year? Or would it make more sense to just try to find a whole new steering wheel?

 

I would keep an eye on EBay. I see dozens of wheels for sale. Different colors.
Only 2 Oyster ones right now. Yours appears to not have the wood option and one of the used ones does.

Up to you but what you found out is the dye does not hold up too good on high wear items like the steering wheel.
