I don't think the V8 version is out yet, I searched the interwebz just now including the recently released V6 version seller's site and no trace.
I vaguely recall reading somewhere (most likely on this forum) that the seller (RKXtech) is "looking in to it".

Nup, the OEM / factory parts are still all plastic although improved a lot over the earlier versions - smooth one piece pipe instead of the crappy seam welded two piece. On the F-Type at least this update happened some time in 2018 so most likely the same with the XJ.

Which more than likely means only some 2018 might have it...?

But all 2019 mostly likely do...?

Yep.
Very easy to check which style of those coolant pipes you have, the top/front cross over pipe is in plain view top/front of the engine (duh!) just under the engine cover, just pull the engine cover off and have a squiz. If it has obvious horizontal joins you have the older problematic style, if not (ie smooth) you have the later style and you should be good to go.

Thank you very much!

Know of any pictures anywhere on here or elsewhere of what the old and new pipe looks like while in the car...?

I tried looking - but the ones I found all looked the "same"...

I just looked at mine a week or so ago, once you see it you'll know. There's either a massive seam staring you right in the face or there isn't.

If you're still not sure, take a photo and post it here.

Here are the pipes in the final edition of the XJL, made in mid 2020.

And I wasn't aware that they still made the XJ into the middle of 2020.

Did they still call it the 2019 model year?

I misspoke. It was made in mid 2019 and was first registered in mid 2020.

And that top crossover pipe shown in your pics is definitely the crappy seamed one, I had no idea JLR continued to fit them on later models right up to 2019.

😳😱 Definitely leaking. I will try to tackle this job later today. Coolant level was low as well. Car was at temp so not sure by how much.

At only 47k... ridiculous

Looks that way.
Maybe some later XJs got the updated pipes, maybe it was a V8 vs V6 thing, maybe it was a NAS vs ROW thing, maybe JLR just wanted to use up all stock of the old pipes (if so why do so on the premium model XJ and not on lesser models like the XF and XE even if that was V6 only?), or, and my money is on this, they knew the XJ was for the chop so they decided not to bother fitting the updated pipes to it. Maybe a few other later (2018 and 2019) XJ owners, both V8 and V6, can chime in and let us know which version of these pipes are on their car?

I don't know as something does not add up?

My 2014 XJR came with the fat seamed plastic pipes from the factory. My water pump started leaking at 28K and under factory warranty Jaguar replaced the WP and both of the front cooling pipes. BUT they installed the later smooth seemed pipes?

This picture is from my lower pulley install from VAP.

Could Jaguar have been installing the improved parts under warranty BUT still using the older fat seams on the production line?
Maybe by the time I had my car done they had moved on to the improved plastic versions?

Can this be done without removing the supercharger?

If so, what needs to be done instead?

Short answer is yes.
BUT when mine was done by Jaguar under warranty they did remove the SC. We have had several people replace those pipes without SC removal but never any detailed instructions or pictures?
I hope someone does post them as I am also VERY interested!

So I will be removing the SC (again) when I finally install the Aluminum pipes. I will have additional work to do like the rear water manifold and finally clean up my Symposer removal job. I will need all the engine compartment room I can get!
