Backtail light lense cracking?

Hey everyone,

We have an XJ just out of warranty. We have noticed that the backtail light lenses are cracking. Has anyone else had this experience?

From: Atlanta suburbs

What model year is your XJ and how many miles does it have? Where are you located? Is your car garaged? Perhaps those lenses are cracking due to the climate.

I had to replace mine but it was because I reversed near a hedge and a small branch hit the light. I searched ebay and found one at a very good price. It took maybe 10 minutes to swap so an easy DIY job.
