My front tires need replacing ... I like the twist bits of the road now and then but my primary use for my XJ is long distance travel ( I live across the pond and I would love to drive a supercharged but its a 300hp diesel my XJ )

So my priority is noise / confort wise. I would buy Michelin Primacy in a heartbeat but they arent available in XJ rear tyre size.

So - with noise ( lack of ) and confort in mind, what are your tyre choices ? I know that are quite a few threads about tires here in the forum ( read pretty much all I could find ) but usually they are performance / season / snow questions.

Do not need a all season / winter tire though - I live in Portugal, it doesnt snow in Lisbon. Sometimes rains a lot but snow in Lisbon is non existant - so summer tyres are ok

I ride on 19" btw

 

Well i was in the same situation but i just went with the original tires that come on the car the Pirelli P Zero.

 

If you go on the TireRack website you can prioritize your requirements, for example (1) road noise, (2) ride comfort, (3) wet handling; and they will make a recommendation tailored to your prioritizes based on your tire size needs.

 

Has anyone tried BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S tires on their 2012 Jaguar XJ, if so any comments would be appreciated.
