Default Browse button for IPod

my browse button not working now for IPod. was working one minute then not at all. it beeps when pressed but doesnt go to browse song selection page for songs. has anyone experienced this and what was the fix?

My iPod sometimes locks up. I have to disconnect it from the car turn the iPod off then back on reconnect to the car and then it works fine. Hope this helps.

my 1G touch did this (no browse functionality about half of the time) - probably because it was only "partially" supported. there's a thread entitled: "XJ iPod/iPhone Integration Problems" which outlines which are fully supported (courtesy of ExpatJag). I replaced my 1G touch with a new classic and it has worked flawlessly since.
