I am actually an F-Type / F-Pace forum member, looking for clues for a friend with an XJ 'Luxury'.

In the Netherlands the importer has a strange way of selection 'standard kit' and 'options' . Like my F-Pace came with leather contrast stitching, but no seat memory..

So my friends XJ [ januari 2016, might be MY2016] , has the ' In control touch pro ' infotainment, but no simcard slot or WiFi. He does have LED headlights..

Who knows what the last firmware version is for this model range ? Can wifi be activated, or is there a 'workaround' to get traffic info maybe if a mobile is hooked-up with a cable ?

Is the 'connected' option just firmware or also hardware differentiated ?
