Default Coolant inlet leaking coming out of water pump and brake switch issue .

The small line going out had a plastic line and I changed it to brass but it’s still leaking. How the hell do you get it to stop it’s driving me
nuts. I don’t know what to do. Anyone have a fix for this. See pic. What an awful design.

also how in the world can you get a brake sensor back in there. It’s awful and I can’t manage to get it back secured in where it needs to be.

The problem with most of those aftermarket brass fittings is that the plastic clip usually has too much slack and allows the fitting to pull out and leak. Often the O-ring they include in the kit is too small also. Did you place the O-ring correctly inside the pump housing before inserting the brass fitting?
