A couple of questions please.
Hi All
In the process of making a few mods to my XJ Diesel.
One of the things I would like to do is to replace the steering wheel with the wooden version. I have come across a brand new one but it's fitted with the adaptive cruise buttons that mine doesn't have, I just have the std cruise control. Does anyone know I can remove existing steering wheel I have done my Range Rover previously so I imagine it might be similar?
Second question can adaptive buttons be removed and replaced with my existing cruise buttons. Inspecting the pictures it seems possible but wondering if anyone has done this previously?
Lastly I switched my 20 inch wheels and tyres to 19s to help improve the ride. The new wheels and tyres were brand new take offs with Pirelli nero tyres and tpms valves. I have had them about two months but every time I start car tpms unavailable is displayed. I have read through reset procedure and followed to no avail. I have noticed whilst driving however occasionally I will get a message Tpms available and then it disappears. On restarting car displays tpms not available so a bit stumped as I'm led to believe tmps should be self learning. Would a battery reset perhaps work?
Thanks
Conor
