Default Demist Button - Harder to press than others?

Hi All,

For those of you with X351... Does the 'Demist MAX' button feel like it has a different 'click' to that of the other buttons in the surrounding area (i.e. front screen heater, rear screen heater and close air circulation)?

My MAX Demist button feels a bit harder/firmer to press (more resistance) than the other buttons that just click

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks
Sunny

Welcome to the forum Sunny.

On mine (an earlier 2012 switch pack) the demist button feels the same as the surrounding buttons.

Okay it seems that mine was a bit stiff/a bit "gooey" when pressing it. I've pressed it about 200 times without exaggeration and it seems to have loosened up and is clicking like normal now. I hope it stays this way

If it does it again then you can disassemble that panel to remove and refit the button caps. It's not hard to do (a few screws and then clips), but you can easily lose the little springs and plastic bits so make sure to do it somewhere clean.

As (my) luck would have it, it did do it again. I used a bit of switch cleaner from maplins (so it doesn't short circuit anything) and it works like factory now
