Default Econo mode

Anyone figure out how to disable the economy mode or set it as default. What a ridiculuos thing to put on a performance vehicle. Anyone living in a metropolitan area or near any traffic at all will hate this.
Yes, I know you can push the button to shut off, but you need to do it every time you start car and it is extremely annoying when the economy mode is on, a/c does not work as well when sitting at light or in traffic, same for heat, acceleration is reduced. Just a terrible thing to have coming on as the default. It should be the other way, default is off and if you want economy mode on press the button.
Would love to shut off forever.

Just disconnect the negitive battery wire to the small battery that is in your trunk/wheel well. This will disable the eco start/stop feature.

Default battery

Is that the only thing that battery runs?
I've never looked but are there two different batteries in the trunk, or just the one you are saying to disconnect the negative from?
Thanks

the small battery in the trunk only runs the eco start/stop feature. Disconnect the negitive side and you have disabled the feature. Make sure that you secure the disconnected cable well so it will not accidently reach the battey post.

I was informed by the Dealer that the smaller battery also transmitted feedback concerning sensor codes and other info. Also that it may be related to the engine warning lamp being illuminated. Disabling might lead to other issues. Does anyone have knowledge to the contrary?
