Default Enhanced Wheels

I just traded my '05 XJR in on a green 11 XJ base. I love the new car and with the help of many of you and those "how to" videos I have sorted out most of my issues. I do have one nagging question, though.

The XJR had Sepang wheels and in my view the made the car's appearance. The wheels on the '11 are the base 19" Aleutians and for my taste they have a dull clunky look to them. Anyone seen any Jaguar wheels that "make the car" like my old Sepang's did? I do not want to go after market but would be willing to move to 20" wheels if it took that to get a stylish lookl with a little sparkle in it.

Thanks for your help!

The Aleutians are probably the closest thing to the wheels on the XJR.

The only other one that i can think of are Kasuga wheels. They are 20" in size and most likely 8.5 up front and 9.5 in the rear.

To me, the best looking wheels, by far, are the Mataiva's that come on the SuperSports. I got lucky and found an OEM set in the UK via Ebay.

Barry,

You are quite right about that. I personally like Mataiva the best on the Xj - great combination of sport and class.

BTW, what carrier they used to ship those? Was the shipping costly?

I have been looking at wheels for my '12 as well. So far, the ones i have seen didn't offer international shipping.

They used an agent called Agillity who shipped through DHL. Shipping was about US$550.00. Really expensive, but the all-in cost was less than half of the cost of buying them from a Jag dealer in the US.

Thank you Barry.

I will make a mental note of the company.
