Default Exhaust Modifications? Straight Pipe?

Hello, I have a 2011 Xj Supercharged... Ive had it for two months now, and I absolutely love the car. However, the exhaust is a little quiet for me. I would like something that scares people when they walk by the car. I have listened to videos of the mina exhaust, but it seemed quiet, with little to no difference. I have not found anything else that works for the xj. Has anyone put on a straight pipe before? Any issues with O2 sensors? That is what I am most interested in... Any recomendations would be great! Thanks!

RSC Tuning makes an exhaust that you may want to check out. Sounds louder than the Mina setup.

Also, you may want to contact user Johncy2000 - his exhaust modifications sound AWESOME and may be what you're looking for.

Why spend over $1,000 for an aftermarket exhaust system when you can get the sound you want for a lot less? Also, what about resale value with a loud exhaust? You can minimize your out-of-pocket costs by keeping the OEM exhaust and add electrically-controlled exhaust cutouts. To avoid triggering the CEL, install the cutouts before the mufflers but after the O2 sensors and catalytic converters. You'll need 2, one for each side. I'm not sure of the OEM pipe diameter, but cutouts are available in 2.0", 2.25", 2.50", and 3.0" diameters for $100 delivered. So, for $200 + installation, you can really **** off your neighbors! Plus, you can tone it down when you see blue lights coming up behind you.

I have a customer with a 2011 xkr and he did a rear muffler delete straight pipe. It sounds great at idle and driving . definite growl and not obnoxious driving. I swore it had Borlas till I lifted it

Hey Brutal!
Glad to know you're still here watching all the forums. Thanks again for your advice years ago on adding a compact spare for my Alcon-equipped XKR.
