The in service date was 31 May 2017 so I only lost about 3 months off of the warranty.

What's your impression of new XJ vs. your old XJ8?

The X358 had a smoother, softer suspension where the X351 is more of a sport tuned suspension and only has the air suspension on the rear versus all four corners of the X358. I like the supercharged six cylinder much more than the V8, especially in Dynamic mode. The acceleration really surprised me. The electronics are vastly superior, especially the sound system and navigation, but it's also eight years newer technology. I love the exterior and especially the interior of the new car. I'm much happier with the new one.

Great looking automobile. I have a '12 XJL, and it's red--REALLY LOVE THIS COLOR.
Glad to see this worked out for you. Enjoy that beautiful ride.

After having the entire front end, A pillars, B pillars, rockers, door jambs, black plastic roof trim, lower rear quarters and panel under trunk lid wrapped with 3M Pro Paint Protection Film by Custom Tint in Apex, NC. Then an eight hour paint correction and Opti-Coat Pro Plus applied by Brandon Woo at Liquid Finish detailing in Cary, NC. The gloss is unbelievable, you could almost shave with it.

I really wrestled with getting an XF or XJ earlier this year. Decided on the XF and love it. Its photos like this that make me think twice, though. Never considered red, but this looks great. Since Jaguar seems committed to keeping the XJ alive, it may still be in my future. Nice car!

That looks great and I also have a red XJ.
How much did all that cost?

I have only covered small area's with protective film. Like my headlights.

What a great looking XJ! My wife and I are going to turn in our leased 2015 XF Portfolio and move into an XJL. I love the XF, but will love the XJL even more. Still trying to decide on a color. I love the IRR as well as the Polaris White and have a chance at both. An interesting decision dilemma.

Love the Red, I bought my 2011 almost 7 years ago and specified red when ordering it, I have the Claret as it was a close match to the Radience red on my other Jaguar.
